The medical team of the Hellenic Healthcare Group visited Kimolos over the weekend of September 26 and 27, 2026, as part of the Group’s “Pantou” Corporate Social Responsibility program, with the island’s residents welcoming the mission with great joy.
Doctors, nursing and administrative staff from Metropolitan Hospital, Hygeia and Metropolitan General traveled to the area, with the specialized medical team providing residents with free clinical and preventive health screenings. A Vascular Surgeon, Cardiologist, Orthopedic Surgeon, Internist, Pediatrician, Breast Surgeon and Otorhinolaryngologist carried out more than 145 medical examinations.
The initiative was implemented in close cooperation with the local authorities, ensuring optimal conditions for welcoming and examining residents.
It is worth noting that, to date, 36 volunteer campaigns have been carried out by the Group, 15,563 residents have been examined and 56,401 medical and diagnostic examinations have been performed in the following areas: Lipsi-Agathonisi, Achilleio-Agioi Theodoroi, Nafpaktos, Lechaina-Varda, Papades-Agia Anna, Evia, Gravia-Delphi, Rovies-Mantoudi, Evia, Dimitsana, Arcadia, Ypati-Pavliani, Konitsa, Tzia, Agios Dimitrios-Pothi, Evia, Stymfalia-Feneos, Mountainous Corinthia, Stropones-Metochi, Evia, Skyros, Karpenisi, Karpathos, Kalavryta, Kalampaka, Leros, Tilos, Nisyros, Argos Orestiko, Symi, Argithea, Agrafa, Kasos, Astypalaia, Sifnos, Vonitsa, Farkadona, Thessaly, Krestena, Ilia, Milos, Meganisi and Neapoli, Boeotia, Limnos and Kimolos.
