Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) has earned the prestigious Platinum distinction from EcoVadis, the international business sustainability ratings organization, achieving the highest level of recognition for sustainable development across the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars. At the same time, it is the only Group in Greece’s healthcare sector to have earned the Platinum distinction, giving this year’s recognition particular significance at both the international and national levels.
The Platinum distinction represents the highest level of recognition awarded by EcoVadis and ranks Hellenic Healthcare Group among the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide. According to EcoVadis’ methodology, the ranking is calculated in relation to all companies assessed by the organization, regardless of industry, and the Platinum distinction is awarded to companies that rank among the top 1% globally.
For Hellenic Healthcare Group, this year’s distinction is not an isolated achievement, but the result of a consistent journey of assessment and continuous enhancement of the Group’s practices and policies in the areas of sustainability and responsible business conduct. Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) has successively received the Silver Medal in 2021–2022 and 2022–2023, the Bronze Medal in 2023–2024, and the Silver Medal in 2024–2025, before achieving this year’s highest Platinum level.
The EcoVadis assessment examines companies’ approach and performance across four key pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Business Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Achieving the Platinum distinction confirms the Group’s comprehensive approach to sustainability and responsible business conduct in a particularly demanding and complex environment such as the healthcare sector.
The significance of this distinction is equally important at the national level. Hellenic Healthcare Group’s recognition as the only Group in Greece’s healthcare sector to hold a Platinum distinction from EcoVadis represents an important acknowledgment of the efforts being made, while at the same time highlighting the Group’s role in promoting high standards of responsible and sustainable business conduct within the healthcare sector.
